Arcade Machines are part of gaming history

Arcade machines are a significant part of gaming history that interest in them remains high. This interest is mostly attributed to the experience and thrill of playing the classics in their intended form and setting. However, amid the pandemic more and more entertainment exists in the cloud, including virtual arcades and quarter arcades that bring coin-operated history home.

The recent pandemic made everyone question. Will people still want to play in public arcades? While the answer to that question remains a mystery, the UK-based Quarter Arcades created a product that allows everyone to own their very own arcade machines at home – at a quarter of the size of the original. Check out the basement arcade called Vintage Vault and imagine the possibility of having your retro arcade at home.

Quarter Arcades have been working with famous gaming publishers and developers like Bandai Namco, Konami, and Taito to recreate classic arcade games faithfully – down to their cabinet design and quirks. The company is also planning on expanding their business to include collaborations with Capcom, Sega, and even Nintendo. If you enjoy games like Galaga and Pac-Man, but playing on an emulated game just won't cut it, then consider owning a real arcade system in 1/4 of the size.
